Who am I?

Yes I am a "MORMON."

As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints we have heard we are going to face a time of turmoil. I know that time is upon us. As I listen to the news and wonder where all this media will lead. It does not scare me. It makes me proud to be who I am. Yes I am different. But my faith runs deep in knowing that the Church of Jesus Christ is true and that by abiding by its precepts I have grown closer to God and Jesus Christ than in any other way.

The effect the Church has had upon my life continually evolves. Always growing and providing new facets of joy to me.

I was recently released as Stake Young Women's president. In this capacity I have served many Young Women and Young Women Leaders. I must say that it is not my service but their service and their life's that gave me perspective. I grew in the knowledge that MY FAMILY is forever. My love for Christ and all he did for us was increased!

I will miss the constant contact I had with those in whom served in this organization.
I hope to build on my experience as I move onto new blessings that come from serving.

I have many friends of different faiths and different views of life. I respect them and know their choices belong to them. Still their goodness touches me deeply. And they have given me great lessons of accepting who I am. And loving who they are. It is awkward to wonder what they must think of me. I worry that they think I judge them wrong. I hope they know that my faith is who I am. As I know their choices are who they are. I do not criticize them for their choices. I know that is the beauty of this great land we live in and this time we live in. We are free to choose how we live. What a great thing that is. WE ARE FREE!

Halloween 08

This year Halloween was beyond crazy. We moved in with Steve's parents who have been so gracious to let us stay with them. It is our home away from home. Wherever that is. We have yet to find a home that fits our needs. So Halloween was a little last minute. We had our first Halloween school Parade at Peck Elementary, a couple of Trunk-or-Treats and the Finale was at the Weber's. Where we had the annual get together. We went trick-or-treating in her Neighborhood. So many decked out houses. The night finished off with Soup and Cider. YUM! Don't forget ROCK BAND. We miss our sweet sid!
